AAHS Students Recognized at Endless Mountains Youth Art Competition

Several art students from AAHS recently a regional art competition, and their artwork is currently on display in the Gmeiner Art Center in Wellsboro, PA.  Eleven Athens students received awards for their work.
There were 6 categories which were judged by college art instructors and artists from the region. Each judge awarded three awards in their category. Winners will receive embroidered patches. The award is called a Badge of Distinction.
Students from Athens Area High School who were recognized were:
·         Photography and Illustration Award: Felicity Tobbe
·         Director's Choice Awards: Alexa Blackman and Matt Nowacoski
·         Watercolor & Ink Award: Kristine Emerson and Raegen Millard
·         Ceramics Award: Alexis Shea
·         Drawing Award: Seanna Geiger, Erica Hutchinson, and Andy Rosenberger
·         Painting Award: Utah Garris and Kaiden Winters
